Senator Moser is a graduate of Scotus Central Catholic High School and earned degrees at Central Community College and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is the owner and manager of Columbus Music Company, and previously served as Mayor of the City of Columbus from 2004-2016.

Senator Moser is married and has three children. He was first elected to the Legislature in 2018 and was re-elected in 2022.
